LVTC participated in the 2021 China-ASEAN Vocational Education Joint Exhibition and Forum

Li Chun, inspector of the Vocational and Adult Education Department of the Ministry of Education of China, and Huang Junhua, Vice Chairman of Guangxi, attended the opening ceremony. The Director of the Education Department of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region， Liu Youyi presided over the opening ceremony. Liu Zilin, secretary of the party committee of LVTC, attended the opening ceremony and the 2021 China-ASEAN Vocational Education Summit Forum, and inspected the booth of LVTC.

The Vocational Education Joint Exhibition lasted for two days. LVTC had two exhibition booths, the featured exhibition area of students' technical skills and the standard exhibition area. The featured exhibition area of LVTC showcased students’live commerce, emergent mobile power storage equipments and VR software applications for engineering machinery maintenance, while the standard exhibition area was mainly for tasting Liuzhou River Snail Rice Noodles（Luoshifen）,for which LVTC set up a self-owned brand Liuzhi Jiangziluo. During the joint exhibition, Li Chun, inspector of the Vocational Education and Adult Education Department of the Ministry of Education of China, Huang Junhua, vice chairman of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, Liu Youyi, director of the Education Department,Huang Xiongbiao, Deputy Chairman of Guangxi and other distinguished guests visited the booth of LVTC. Wei Linhua, director of the International Exchange Office of LVTC, introduced the school’s own brand of Liuzhou river snail rice noodles（Luoshifen），“Liuzhi Jiangziluo”. In the display area of VR software applications for machinery maintenance ,Huang Junhua and other leaders and guests believed that the VR software was a good solution to student training problems, and inquired how to run the software on the mobile phones.

At the same time, the education counselor of the Malaysian Embassy in China, Hou Chunxing, learned of the achievements of LVTC, and expressed the hope that Malaysian colleges and universities could have in-depth exchanges and cooperation with LVTC, and took a group photo with Liu Zilin, secretary of the party committee of LVTC.

It is known that this year marks the 30th anniversary of the establishment of the dialogue relations between China and ASEAN and the year of sustainable development and cooperation between China and ASEAN. As one of the series activities of the 18th China-ASEAN Expo, the 2021 China-ASEAN Vocational Education Joint Exhibition and Forum is the 6th since it was first held since 2012 with theme ”Skills Serve a Better Life”as its theme. It included 10 important events, among which joint exhibitions and forums of vocational education were the most impressive. Besides, a consultation meeting on education with the four frontier provinces of Vietnam and a promotion meeting on cooperation among 100 schools were held. Due to the epidemic prevention and control, this year’s joint exhibition and forum were held in the form of a combination of offline and online, using a new model of “physical exhibition + cloud forum”, which well demonstrated the achievements of China-ASEAN vocational education.
